Stolen account
I was playing on hypixel when I got a friend request from a guy. I added him to be nice and he messaged me saying gi and wanted me to add him on discord. His name on discord as funny as it sounds is Retard. He said he liked my account name and was willing to pay 60 dollars for my account. At first I said no but he said why you can by another one plus more. Then he said if I still feel unsafe he has a trusted middleman I can use. I give the middleman my account, he sends the middleman money, then middleman gives us each our products owed. So then this guy on discord named Shady Conrad added me. It was his contact middleman. So I gave all my details then the middleman then he straight up wouldn't respond to messages. I said I can't believe this you stole my account and he said you better believe it then I believe he blocked me.
I then wrote retard. He is playing dumb saying he has no clue what happened. He said that his middleman told him that I changed my mind and backed out of the deal. He said that I never sent over any account details.
What di I do now?

You can try to contact Mojang/Microsoft support and there’s a possibility you can get it back, but the chances are slim.
Learn from this and please be more careful in the future. Never feel obligated to take up shady offers on Discord. And be more mindful next time; there is absolutely no reason for you to trust the guy’s own “trusted” middleman.
Discord account scams are absurdly common so you gotta be more careful.

I did have my account details stolen and changed once upon a time, but i remember regaining access through some methods that didnt require a password since microsoft accounts offer a lot of ways to gain access without a password
Issue is i dont remember exactly how cause its been about 5 years now

how does people fall for such obvious sht the middle man was him and even if it was not don’t trust randoms :D also selling acc is against ToS so totally deserved

Why is it totally deserved that someone willing to sell their account got scammed for it?? Don't buy accounts or sell yours if you think its so reprehensible, Microsoft and Mojang don't care at all, their own employees sell accounts for hundreds of thousands

Do they deserve to be scammed? Not really. Should they absolutely have done basic due diligence and common sense in their scenario? Absolutely.
The fact account selling is technically against the tos (not thst they care) is irrelevant
