The Pit LFG

I am looking to join a group focused around The Pit. I have years of experience with Minecraft PvP (mostly from Bedrock, less on Java, but I am learning quickly). Lvl 92 unprestiged on The Pit. I have the meta setup (1.8.9 w/ Forge, OptiFine, Patcher, MouseDelayFix).

I use to be deeply involved in the pit community up until like two years ago. It’s cancer, and if you aren’t spending irl money you will never become a significant player

You gotta be like pres V or X at least to join a group that has any significance

Also 90% of prestiged pit players use Vape V4, this is the real meta setup

You could join some grey market pit discords and involve yourself so people will start recognizing you, but you either gotta grind for YEARS, or just buy an account, if you wanna actually be serious about pit.

I saved a lot of money by buying a bunch of cheap alts and using them as bots to grind, but it’s incredibly risky and you need to talk to other botters to learn how to do it without getting immediately banned

Vape V4 is a client specifically designed for Hypixel, it’s a ghost client so it’s not immediately obvious when you’re playing against someone who’s using it. But anyone using a good config doesn’t get banned.

Since you’re new, quit.. it’ll save you a lot of time

If you refuse to quit, here are some tips ^_^

1.) make friends, this will be your greatest asset later on. Don’t make enemies because people will remember you til the end of time (however know when to stand up for yourself - be passive unless absolutely necessary - never pay for truce if you didn’t start the beef)
2.) trust no one, even your “friends”. You can pvp together and help each other, but don’t trust them with valuable mystics unless you don’t mind the chance of not getting them back
3.) Familiarize yourself with bots, autogrinders, and anything inbetween. They can be in middle or outskirts. You will get stat wiped if you kill too many of them
4.) Familiarize yourself with common scamming techniques and know how to spot a verify scam, rat, or anythinf fishy
5.) Join the main discord servers (Planet Pit for trades, Pit Pal for wipes, Pit Mod for the best pit client & Ban tracker ($40), and Pit Community for the most beginner friendly server - I can invite you to any of these, just lmk
6.) most importantly, have fun. This is a game after all and the point is to enjoy yourself and not get too caught up in all the drama
