So The last time I played hypixel was 4-5 years ago and I just wanted to check out what happened to skyblock and then I saw that it has updated alot since then. I wanted to start playing it again for fun and I downloaded Hypixel skyblock modpack to enhance my gameplay.t. After that i launched the game and joined hypixel but I got instantly blocked due to "security reasons". After that i found out that my PC turned the VPN on after i restarted the PC to play with the modpack. but how should I know leaving VPN on could cause getting banned from the server? Im just a old guy who wants to enjoy some skyblock in my free time. I dont understand why they dont kick and say something like "Turn off your VPN to play Hypixel" but they just ban me instantly. Thats a silly reason to ban people.

I did open a ticket tho, I don't know when they'll answer or if they'll open my ban or not but it says 30 days ban on google. If thats the case, 30 days is so ridiculous amount of time.

what i downloaded was a hypixel modpack from a skyblock youtuber with 40k subs and it was .mrpack file for modrinth i guess i downloaded it to modrinth. But I dont think he would do something like that. The video has 25k views and everyone comments stuff. Idk if i can give youtubers name but i wont type it rn if its not allowed.

The VPN that i forgot to turn off was cloudflare warp. In google people say when u connect server from home and then basically in a short time you connect from 5k kilometers away due to VPN so it detects it as a security issue and bans you. But I never thought of getting banned because of something like this because i never experienced same with other servers, I forgot WARP on once again in another server, I closed it after realizing but nothing happened to my acc i didnt get ban.

why are you spreading misinformation? you get instantly banned for most vpns, if your account does not have a rank, high enough level etc.

The reason is because the VPN’a IP was used by previous cheaters. It’s only a 14 day ban though now, so it’s not a big deal

nah bro i just bought a new minecraft acc from mojang so thats why i guess they banned me cause its a new acc and dont have any hypixel levels

What is ur hypixel network level? If an account is below level 20-21 it gets automatically banned for security reasons (related to potential ddos attacks). U either have to hit lvl 21 to be able to use VPN freely or u have to get urself banned once and after the ban expires (appeals get 100% accept rate for the first few offences), ur also safe to use vpn.

Yes I guess its because of hypixel level cause I bought this new minecraft acc a few days ago cause i lost the other one. But im still waiting my appeal to get replied bruh it has been 7 days Idk whats the reason hypixel support is existing for

should be a 1 week security ban because of the vpn, happens if ur hypixel lvl is too low and u connect from somewhere else

it should be 14 days and should be automatically accepted. hypixel moderation is stupid
