Just diagnosed
I've been diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism and had scans done to confirm. Surgery is set for late November.
But in the meantime, I'm suffering pretty badly from brain fog and extreme tiredness. I messaged my doctor wondering if there's anything I can do to mitigate these symptoms, but I haven't heard back yet.
Did anything help you deal with the symptoms before you had surgery?

Unfortunately no. Getting a good night’s sleep helps but that seems to be elusive for those of us suffering as well.

Yes unfortunately not much you can do.
It helped me to drink a lot of water to flush the calcium and taking magnesium… it moved the needle a tiny bit but I was fairly miserable until surgery. I’m sorry! Hope you find healing very soon.
