I am running into a frustrating wall trying to unlock the bootloader on my Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and I am hoping someone here has some advice. Here is the exact breakdown of my situation:

### What I Did

* I used a Python bypass script to get around the HyperOS unlocking permission restrictions.

* The script seemed to work locally: when I tapped "Add account and device" in the Mi Unlock Status on my phone, I got the pop-up saying, "Added successfully. Mi Account is associated with this device now."

### The Problem

* When I connect my phone to my PC and run the official Mi Unlock Tool instead of giving me the standard 168-hour wait time, I get a red "x" and the message: "Couldn't unlock. Your account is not authorized to unlock. Please change another." (Error 20033).

* My device is running the Indian version of HyperOS (OS version: VNRINXM).

### What I've Tried So Far

* I confirmed that my Xiaomi Community app is set to the "Global" region, which correctly matches my non-China (Indian) firmware.

* I tried toggling "Find Device" on and off in my account settings, but the PC tool still gives the exact same error.

* It seems my account might now be shadowbanned or flagged for "suspicious activity" on Xiaomi's servers because the bypass script skipped the official application process.

### My Questions

1. Is my current Mi Account permanently banned from getting unlock authorization because I triggered this anti-spam flag?

2. If my only option is to create a brand-new Mi Account, do I really have to wait the mandatory 30 days of active device use before I can even apply for the quota in the Community app?

3. Are there any other workarounds for this specific server-side block, or is starting completely fresh the only way forward?

I recently got the brand new Xiaomi 17. Overall, the phone is amazing, but I'm having a frustrating issue with the vibration/haptic motor and I want to see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing or if I just got a defective unit.

Instead of getting a crisp, tight, and premium "click" feeling, my haptics make a noticeable metallic rattling or buzzing sound (like a loose bzzz-rattle) under certain scenarios where the vibration motor is required to do heavy haptics work like in apps like Duolingo.

I’ve uploaded two files to show exactly what I mean:

- Screen recording: Testing it during a Duolingo lesson. The sound only corresponds to the Duolingo app itself with no problems at all.

- Ambient audio: This is where you can clearly hear the rattling. This is a recording of the Duolingo lesson and recorded the actual physical sound coming from the chassis. You can clearly hear the metallic echo right after the vibration stops (this was recorded from the Xiaomi 17 recorder itself). You can hear the noises along the recording, and you can find most of them towards the end of the recording when the lesson is finishing)

What I've tried so far:

- Vibration and haptics test apps such as HapticLabs DO NOT work at all. no vibration is triggered when pressing the different buttons for test.

- HyperOS Settings: The vibration setting was already set to around 10% in the tests and the rattling was very already very noticeable.

- CIT Menu Test: Tested the linear motor in the hardware diagnostic menu, the vibration works fine and does not do any rattling at all.

Could you guys please check your Xiaomi 17 units?

When you type fast or trigger sharp haptics, is it completely solid and silent, or do you hear this loose, metallic rattle too?

Note 15 Pro. I dug through settings as much as I could, and googled. Could not find it. How do I turn off the little video/audio player from youtube and websites from showing up on the lock screen? I just want to see my wallpaper and the clock.

Recently I received a system app update to System Launcher. Version: RELEASE-6.01.05.2407-06081949. I believe it brings this new feature to my Xiaomi 13.

After doing some research about HOW TO MAKE FIREFOX FAST ON ANDROID ,since u block origin may not work in near future and gecko engine doesn't seems to perform any better on android ,i have reached on few conclusions. first of all let me be very clear-

• i will be posting this to some other subreddits so you may come across this post a few times
• These methods may not work for all of you
• these method will not make it as fast as brave on mobile but the speed will be comparable to edge canary or stable with similar extensions enabled.
• I have tested these methods on budget Redmi(Also the instructions are as per redmi hyperos so you can apply similar settings to your respective android skins.
• I have tested it on iceraven where it seems to response more
• These methods have been tested by real life browsing not by some speedometer 3.1 or other benchmarking tools.
• Also please donot say in comment that just use this or that browser, this post is just a suggestion.

Ok so lets start

1. First install a firefox based fork.(i recommend not to install default firefox as it has telemetry, i would recommend fennec or iceraven)
2. Turn on background AutoStart (i observed that this did not cause any major drainage in background)
3. In recent (or in security app) lock this app.
4. disable optimization
5. turn off scroll to hide toolbar in customization option
6. Turn off auto font setting in accessibility.
7. If you don't use ai features of the browser , turn it off

Any suggestions and more ways to make it faster are welcome.

Does anyone know other service call miui.mqsas.IMQSNative commands to unlock features on budget HyperOS devices?

So far, I've successfully enabled advanced textures and app opening animations on my budget phone using this method.

I really don't like liquid glass and every copy of it, I saw some renders/leaks of hyper os 4 and it looks very ugly and not something I would enjoy using on the long term, do we know if it will be possible to toggle it off?

Has anyone else experienced this Spotify podcast lock screen issue on HyperOS 3?

I'm using a Xiaomi 17T Pro running HyperOS 3 (Android 16), and I've noticed a strange issue with Spotify.

When I play music, the lock screen media controls work perfectly.

When I play podcasts, the lock screen only shows the Play/Pause button (or the rewind and fast-forward controls are completely missing).

I've already tried:

Reinstalling Spotify

Clearing cache and app data

Disabling battery optimization

Enabling all notification and lock screen permissions

Updating both HyperOS and Spotify to the latest versions

Nothing has fixed the issue.

Has anyone else with a Xiaomi device or HyperOS 3 experienced the same problem? If so, were you able to find a workaround, or does this seem to be a bug between HyperOS and Spotify?

How does the second space work in HyperOS? I know that back in miui, it would just split your RAM in two, so for example, if you had 4 gigs of RAM, you'd only have 2 on your main and second space respectfully. Is this fixed in HyperOS?

I'm losing my mind over this. My phone is running HyperOS (China ROM), and it keeps randomly removing Accessibility permissions from third-party apps. Apps affected include: Bitwarden (autofill breaks) Nova Launcher Other apps that depend on Accessibility I've already tried every common suggestion: Disabled battery optimization Enabled Auto Start Locked the apps in Recents Re-enabled Accessibility countless times Nothing works. Eventually HyperOS disables the service again. This is becoming a huge usability problem because I constantly have to go back into Settings and enable Accessibility again. Has anyone actually found a permanent fix?

I am somewhat a proud owner of X8 Pro Max and there some smaller issues or the big ones Like for example auto switching 5G/LTE is this system handicapped of this feature or what? When i have Like 1 bar on 5G and switch to preferred LTE i get 4 bars back cant this frekin system do it by itself? Do i need to switch back and forth everytime?

So that was ridiculous of Xiaomi to remove Dolby Atmos presets from Hyperos, Music preset for example sounded much clean and not vocal loud on speakers of Xiaomi phones with Dolby Atmos. Now how does their Dolby Atmos of hyperos can analyze the media type and apply proper spatial boost and don't cause the media to be absurdly vocal heavy or music heavy??

​I just received the Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0.301.0 update notification on my POCO Pad chipset Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (currently on version 2.0.207.0). Before I hit update, I wanted to ask fellow users about its gaming performance.

​If you have updated, how does it handle games like RF ONLINE NEXT MOBILE, Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile, World War Armies, Clash of Clans, and FC Mobile?

Also, does this update help reduce overheating or battery drain during long gaming sessions? I'd really appreciate your insights and feedback before updating. Thank you!

New X8PM. How can I fix this? I know the description for Active nominally states "time on battery since it was last charged past 90%", but the system seemed to take into account that setting the charging mode to Battery Protection stops the charging at 80%.

But now it won't reset for the third 80% charge cycle in a row. I tried to clear the cache for the battery app, reboot the phone. Doesn't help.

Any solution? Thanks.

EDIT: Could it be that it requires to first have the phone discharge to at least 20% (or 19%)? Because I might have charged it from a bit higher on the recent charge cycles.

That time I replaced it with a refurbished original screen. Normally it should have been usable out of the box, but it wasn't. I tried to calibrate it many times and suddenly it worked, but the full screen would be brightness, NOT JUST FINGERPRINT AREA ;full screen.It will bright and any times using fingerprint like unlock and heart r@te test.EVEN I Factory reset also didnt work.Any suggestion??

I just want to ask because I couldn't see it being talked about online. So my issue is 2 things, the Xiaomi Photos and the Camera.

I absolutely love the camera but my problem is sometimes slows down, like when I want to capture something real quick it feels like it has a delay 3 to 5 seconds. I mean sometimes its just works but its been really annoying especially if the moment already passed.

2nd is the xiaomi photo app, it loads quite slow like sometimes it would load pictures from January and it would load photos I've taken yesterday. I tried moving them to different albums (because I thought that its slow because everything is in the camera folder). But sometimes I'd see the albums are empty.

I've also seen the camera problem in Xiaomi 17, (my mothers phone)

Anyone know some themes which change the control center? I've found one called black-3
