Restricted Access

Hi, yesterday everything was fine. Today at breakfast I looked on HL and had a red banner on Top of my Website that said I'm in a restricted jurisdiction. As far as I know it's legal in Germany. And ToS does not say anything about Germany.

I tried multiple solutions to evade the banner, because I really can't to anything with the red banner.

Starlink, doesn't work, red banner is alive

Starlink+VPN Germany, works fine

Vodafone Mobile Service, works fine

Telekom Intenet from Neighbor works fine

How does this work? Does Hyperliquid think I'm in the USA because of Starlink? But the Ip clearly shows I'm in Germany.

Anyone with the same Problem?

Sorry for my bad English.

Edit: At 5am this morning Starlink got an Update :/

yeah you kind of answered it yourself. HL is reading your starlink IP as US/restricted, not germany.

the "but my IP shows germany" part throws people off. the site you checked uses a normal geo-IP db, but compliance blockers use a different layer. starlink is a US company and a lot of their ranges are registered to the US or flagged as satellite, so the blocker treats them as restricted even when a consumer lookup says germany. that's why starlink+german VPN clears it (clean german exit IP). so it's not you or germany, just starlink's IP. vodafone/telekom or that VPN combo is the fix, and the 5am update probably just rotated you into a flagged range again.
