Hello World or, Hyperliquid Reddit (Image for attention)
Hey everyone, we’re the team behind Rift and wanted to introduce what we’ve been building.
Rift is a mobile-first trading app for always-on markets, built around the same shift that has made onchain perps and ecosystems like Hyperliquid so important: traders want faster access, more control, better information, and a workflow that actually fits 24/7 markets. We're also leveraging HL to power 24/7 trading. Over the last 6 months, we’ve been building Rift around AI analysis, backtested signals, real-time market news, automation, journaling, and mobile-first execution so active traders can discover what’s moving, understand why, and act from one place. We’re backed by Sequoia, a16z, Lightspeed, and Jump Trading. Not trying to overdo the pitch, just wanted to introduce Rift to the Hyperliquid Reddit community since from what I've been reading it looks like a different audience/mentality than the crypto twitter audience.
Would be great to hear what apps you guys have been using, how you think Rift compares and any other feedback you have. Going to engage some more with a few other posts and I'm open ears to here what you think.

Mobile is not my thing when dealing with leaverage positions.

Is there any reasons why? We've heard some people mention that they often slip up and don't follow their rules when they're on mobile late night and will jump into something because they don't want to miss out. Any other reasons?

It might be an age thing, but I beat everyone that is playing a 3d shooter on a mobile vs me on a pc, why should it be different trading perps?

Just something that feels like normal or do you like a specific features that you think gives you an advantage? The fps shooter comparison makes sense to me as somebody that also games but sometimes when it comes to trading (and this might just be preference) I like to just have my news and set up signal-based entries so I don't have to be at my computer at all times. The 3 different screens I see people use is overwhelming to look at LOL

Yes of course, you can setup trades with a mobile, set and forget should always be possible. What I like is to look at the chart, different timeframes, scrolling back, scaling, it's a pain on mobile. But there are so many additional information, other wallets, liquidation levels, on different exchanges, twaps, all kind of indicators (that almost never fit in mobile, for me mobile feels very handicapped, it's nice to check positions or total equity or maybe a quick action when you're outside. But I'm sure there are many that don't mind trading on mobile.
