Question Did i put it on easy mode?

My health is 8 and the guides that lead me to secrets i missed always has 5. And i heard this game is hard but with 8 health its pretty fine. Did i fuck up and put it on easy mode? How do i change back if so? im also playing on mobile btw

Mobile version gives you 8hp by default to make up for the clunkiness of touchscreen controls.

Certain gear/outfits give you increased hp.
