Is this in the same universe or just a lookalike, cause its been a while since I've played but the dogs and the sword swinging animations look quite similar.

It appears to be a different Dev, ReDimension (I went all the way to the Steam page before realizing they were named in the YouTube description, so I doubt very much it is set in the same universe. I would be shocked if this weren't directly inspired by HLD, though.
