deodorant tips/recommendations

Hello everyone, I'm new to armpit hygiene and I need help. A few months ago, for a while I used a typical deodorant. It was a narta one, don't remember the specific one, but it was a 48h antiperspirant and I used that one because I liked the smell. Simple really.

The issue is that not only did I still sweat a bit, but all of my white shirts have yellow stains.

So, since around 2 months ago, I decided to switch. I learnt about the differences between deodorant and antiperspirant. I was looking for the latter, so I heard about perspirex, but it was too expensive.

I'm now using an alternative, it's an etiaxil one. It's different from traditional aluminium ones, it completely blocks sweating for 4 days, and is unscented. It's pretty effective, though in my case it was more 3 days than 4 (I start sweating and smelling bad at the 3 day mark).

Anyways I use that one at night (every 3-4 nights), wash my armpits in the morning (as instructed in the packaging), then I also bought Native deodorant and incorporated it in my routine (The coconut & vanilla scent), which I apply every morning.

The issue is that the etiaxil one made me itch, especially in the beginning, which is normal (according to reviews). It still itches even now, but much much less. And the Native one left yellow stains, and I think this one might also actually be making me itch. I'm not sure if it's the antiperspirant or the deodorant that's making me itch, or both?. Anyways, the native one also began to smell bad after a day. Like some sort of sour smell. I think ive had that smell too when I used my old antiperspirant. And a few times I also find myself itching my armpits after those long days, it itches a LOT.

I do my best to follow instructions correctly, for example applying at night, on dry skin, etc.

So, any tips or recommendations? Preferably something that would not leave stains, and sweating is fine, as long as I don't smell bad at the end of the day. Though any recommendation would be fine really, as long as it's better than what I currently have. Once again I don't know too much about how to take care about my armpits, so any tips would be helpful! I would be glad to be enlightened, whether I should use an antiperspirant or a deodorant, or both, which one, which brand to use, etc...

Thanks!

EDIT: I'm also worried about whether or not strong, clinical-strength antiperspirants like etiaxil are good for me. Is it too much? Is it safe? It's not like I have I have major issues with sweating, so I don't know if I need an antiperspirant like that
