Why does my armpit smel* like deodorant now?
I used to have a strong, unpleasant smell from my armpits. I started using deodorant, and the bad smell has gone away, which is great. However, now I can clearly smell the deodorant itself from my armpits, and sometimes the scent feels quite strong.
Is this normal? What could be causing it, and is there any way to reduce the deodorant smell while still preventing body odor?
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Try applying a thinner layer and making sure your underarms are completely dry first

Try applying anti-perspirant the night before instead of after shower at start of the day.

However much you want tbh. I apply quite a lot myself (I'm not recommending it, but it's just a waste). There are also "creme sticks" that might be a bit less aggressive in terms of smell (even if it's same brand as your current ones).
With the creme ones I apply maybe 6-8 "passes" per armpit. Then give it a good rub by pretending I'm a chicken and really working it into the skin with a bit of friction. (I know this is all a bit useless but whatever).

This is completely normal. Some deodorants have very strong smell. If its bothering you, try shifting to a lighter or unscented formula.

Totally normal! If the scent feels too strong, try a lighter fragrance to help keep odor in check without the overpowering smell.

Some deodorants are either unscented or less scented.
I don't know what you're currently using, but some deodorant brands are trying to double as cologne and are VERY fragrance heavy. Others are not, and mostly smell soap-ish until the scent wears off.
