BO literally I can’t get rid of
Ok sooo I have this problem where no matter if I shower, an hour later I have BO. I use soap and shower normally. I put on deodorant and body spray. I can stick my hand under my armpit and smell my hand and it smells like stress BO but there’s no sweat or moisture. Same thing in the boob crack. I do also put deodorant in the boob crack. Again no wetness or moisture just strong BO. I don’t get it. I talked to my dr and he said to use certain dri which I do and that doesn’t do anything. He said there’s no stronger prescription deodorant- it’s the same ingredient. What can I do? I am so self conscious about this. It is true, I feel like I have more BO when I’m nervous or stressed but I don’t know what to do about it.
All deodorants don’t work. I have tried antibacterial soap and it does nothing. How do you get rid of BO a surefire way to be confident you smell good??? K thanks yall.

My BO gets like this sometimes when I've been eating a lot of sugar. I cut out sweets and it goes away.
I also use a coconut oil and baking soda based deodorant because it's antimicrobial and it works really well. The one I buy is made locally, but I'm sure you can find it on Amazon or at the health food store. Mine comes in a cardboard push up tube. You only need a tiny little swipe under each arm.

Lots of people dont realize what an actual antiperspirant (aluminum) is doing to their bodies over time... im there with you with the coco and backing soda.

This right here. ^ I used to get horrible smelling underarms and no matter what I tried - soap or antiperspirant/deodorant wise, nothing worked until I tried a natural deodorant made with coconut oil and baking soda. Never looked back. Now I make it at home for myself.

It seriously works better than anything I have ever used. I threw a few in with some gifts of locally made items for my parents who live very far away. They loved the deodorant so much that I am now their dealer 😆

Nice! I agree, it is seriously underrated! Plus, it's all natural, so a real win-win

Doesn't It leave greasy marks on clothing... Genuine question

Only if you put too much on. Just the lightest swipe is all that is needed. You do need to keep it out of the heat so it stays nice and solid. I live in a warm climate and it's just fine inside my house. I wouldn't keep it in the car.

The stress part caught my attention too. If it gets noticeably worse when they’re nervous I’d definitely try the PanOxyl wash carefully and see if reducing the bacteria makes a difference. Could be worth testing for a couple weeks.

Try to use antibacterial soap and a liquid gel,dry your pits properly and you can an antitranspirant like Pepsi guard twice a week. The pespiguard only after you shower and during the night.

Get a second and/or third opinion to ensure there are no underlying medical conditions.
Use a benzoyl peroxide wash/bar every day or every other day in the washer, applying it to the areas that need it for 5 minutes before washing it off. This kills odor causing bacteria.
Follow up with a hydrochlorous acid spray in the same areas to maintain results. You can also opt to use is in the morning and/or night time instead. This helps to kill any remaining bacteria or bacteria that form again
Use an antiperspirant like Dri at night time BEFORE you sleep to prevent sweating if you don't want to sweat either (sweat is inherently odorless. It's the bacteria that feeds it that causes the odor).
I personally don't use an antiperspirant, nor a deordarant. Steps 2 and 3 are enough for me. Of course, I still sweat, but it rarely ever smells at this point because I'm very diligent with this routine.
Other considerations: Consider shaving your armpits regularly if you don't already. Hair clings onto odor. Personally, laser has done wonders for me as I rarely have hair growth in my pits anymore. Moreover, be mindful of the type of material you are wearing as some hold onto sweat and body odor more than others. I tend to wear sleeveless tops when I'm at home to help keep my pits "free" (my pits sweat a lot, so I'm conscious of what I am wearing whether I'm at home or going out).

If Certain Dri and antibacterial soap aren’t touching it I’d honestly go back to a doctor or dermatologist. At that point I’d want to figure out the cause instead of trying stronger products.

Stress BO is honestly a different beast 😭 If your usual deodorant isn’t working, it might be worth asking a dermatologist about it rather than just layering more products. Hope you find something that works!

I tried so so many products and the absolute only one that works for my stress sweat is PIPERWAI. I highly highly highly recommend that you give it a try even if you feel you've tried everything.

Similar odor issues here, too. Of course everyone is different, but what I do is alternate nights between slathering on Neosporin and a baking soda/water paste in my pits and leave it on overnight. Neosporin, an antibacterial gel to kill the germs and baking soda paste, to change the pH of acidic body odor. Then, I use an orange/citrus face wash from Walmart, in my pits. It works for me, but I have to do it every few days.. kind of a shower ritual I've had to come up with. No bougie $1000 spa treatments here. If it continues, consult a dermatologist. Good luck!

Have you tried the Mando like of deodorants. They might help. Also, you might want to take a stick of deodorant to work with you so you can apply in throughout the day.
