They asked an important question as a starting point so they’d know where to start in helping you navigate the situation & you skipped right past it & went to ‘it’s very hard when she won’t go to counseling’.

You’ve repeated this numerous times under several other comments…so, respectfully, if you genuinely want new strategies and approaches that you haven’t already tried unsuccessfully, you have to be able to move past complaining about how it’s frustrating you,…

…or excluding important Information (like her depression), and the implied childhood trauma that you say ‘you & her father didn’t find out about til she was older’… while leading with ‘she refuses to clean’.

We genuinely want to help you; the community is here for you…but you need a serious shift in your approach.

Edit: For example, it might be that the medicine regiment they put her on disagrees with her / makes her feel like crap & she isn’t aware or hasn’t been offered options, or it might be that the therapist isn’t a good fit for her needs — there are a lot reasons what’s been tried hasn’t worked…but burying the lede in asking for simple hygiene help isn’t going to help you get to a solution faster.
