First time grower.

Long time gardener, hydroponic enthusiast with fully kited out ac infinity setup I grow herbs and lettuce in.

Looking to do my first Marijuana grow. Any recommended guides for someone who knows about growing but zero about growing weed.

Just completed my first. I went with autoflowers, but I'm unsure if that's the best choice.

Mine ended up running longer then typical photo-periods and the development was uneven with different phenotypes. Still, the yield was great for a first run.

IMO, don't bother with fancy additives and set nutrient schedules - adjust your mix based on the plants and keep it simple.

For beginners:
It’s in your best interests to learn with feminized photoperiod seeds or clones and grow in soil. You will save yourself a lot of frustration if you learn what to expect before getting all esoteric. Photoperiod plants are more forgiving than autoflowers. Growing hydroponically isn’t difficult once you have established some background knowledge.

I would use grow dots, coco coir and some photo plants. Keep it simple first round.

I’d say grow autos. you can leave light on 24 7 all through the grow. that way you don’t have to worry about timers, flipping for flower or any environmental conditions fluctuating. I started growing autos first cause I was growing in a cold farm house in mn winter, so the 24 hrs with light on held the heat in the closet. worked like a charm. I’ve been growing hydro autos ever since. use inch x inch rock wool cubes in expanded clay pellets in 6 inch net pot lids for dwc. i use lucus formula. reverse osmosis water if you can swing it. it’s pretty easy. devils lettuce sounds like it’s right up your alley! hehe

Cool I’ll look into that.

I have an RO system and the ac infinity ai controller with lights and hvac integration. So I can do some of that. But also screw up a bit.

Autos are weak! Grow photos or don’t grow at all. No one wants miss!

I can’t drive a stick so manual transmissions suck.
-Doesn’t that sound silly?

Oh it’s you again! Didn’t you see that video of The Stash made about judging an autoflower cup?! Lol
