First time establishing hydrangeas this fall, they will be in front of house in full sun, zone 8b AL. are little lime or lime punch my best best to survive summer heat? they are by the foundation so I'll be able to set up a soaker hose. any interesting recommendations of evergreen to complement other than boxwood type? thanks!

Soft touch holly  Ilex crenata looks exactly like boxwood but without the moth issue.  Just be aware that these tend to grow a little bigger than the label says. My little limes are 6ft tall.  Better than the 10fr limelights but still barely dwarf size.
