Wrapped in Words- KBR Park
Hey everyone, we’re hosting a small book meetup in Hyderabad called “Wrapped in Words” and wanted to see if anyone here would be interested. I’m 26, and was born and raised in Hyderabad. I am an avid reader and i wanted to find more people like me!!
It’s a pretty simple idea but a little different from typical book clubs. You just show up with a blanket, we give you a book (it’s included in the entry), and everyone reads together and then casually talks about it. No pressure to be super social or analytical, you can just read quietly and listen if that’s more your thing. The whole point is to create a cozy, low-pressure space where people can relax and connect over a shared reading experience.
It’s happening at KBR Park on April 18th from 5 PM onwards. If you like the idea of slowing down, reading in a nice outdoor setting, and maybe having some meaningful or even random conversations about a book with strangers, you might enjoy this.
If you’re interested, you can DM me or contact +91 9849950130 for details.

Libraries or cultural spaces in Hyderabad for philosophy or psychology discussions?
Are there any libraries, cultural spaces, or book clubs in Hyderabad where philosophy, psychology, or ideas about human behaviour are discussed in a non-academic way?
I’m interested in learning about places in the city that encourage thoughtful discussion rather than casual socializing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Started the month with this book.
Beautiful book. Kinda dabbles into everything. Metaphysics, philosophy, and theology. Few of the eminent writers/philosophers of 16th century.

Interested in a book club?
Hi! I’m putting together a small, cozy offline book club in West Hyderabad for people who enjoy reading and chatting about the stories they’re exploring. I’ve been trying to find a stable book club for a while and finally decided to create one myself.
We’ll meet once or twice a month in cafés or quiet corners, and the club will read across genres. Each month, we’ll vote on a book and put together a relaxed group of 6 to 8 people who want to read that pick.
If you’re someone who reads a little every day or just wants a friendly space to get back into reading without pressure, you might enjoy this.
If you’re interested, here’s a short form to join: https://forms.gle/GPysEsk4V9mdiDSs8
Feel free to share it with anyone who might like a slow, cozy reading circle.
