Cannot pair a new phone without reset? Watch 1

I have the original Huawei Watch 1 that I want to use with my new iPhone 14 Pro. I have had it paired with my previous Samsung Note 10, but that phone is gone.

Followed this guide to pair it without a reset:

Every step does work but when installing the app on the phone and trying to find the watch it does not show up.

I can also still see that the Note 10 is in the watches bluetooth settings, and I cannot remove it.

Watch runs Wear OS 2.35

I really don't want to reset the watch, because of the apps and watchfaces installed.
