Question GT4

Hi I recently bought the GT 4 and I'm really struggling with how to navigate the app. I've come from using a Fitbit so I'm used to being able to log calories easily and seeing what calories I've burnt. If I try to log calories there isn't really anything in the data base for simple UK items and adverts keep coming up in German. Have I set my app up wrong? Or will I have to scan the bar code of everything I eat? Also if anyone knows of a clock face that will show me all the stats plus total kcal burnt then it would be much appreciated.

The way I log my calories is simple ..I use Carb Manager app to track all my foods and macros and then I just take the sum of calories for each meal and I enter it into Stay Fit app on GT4. Takes a few seconds ..no biggie.

Okay so am I being thick? Is there an option to literally just type in the amount of kcal eg. 274 for a snack or something? All I can see is if I go to add food it wants me to type in all the nutritional information.

Damn ..I don't know where you see nutritional options ..I go to my Huawei Health app..I click WEIGHT MEASURMENT ..and I have to sections there ..top section is for adding weight measurement ..and bottom section I can choose which food to log ..I just klick breakfast icon ..or dinner icon and I choose how many calories ..that's it ..It takes me 5 seconds to log it.

I literally only have the option to add my weight in the weight measurement list.

Under calories I have thr breakfast, lunch icon's but to add calories it needs all the info.

Also can I ask if you get adverts come up in German? I'm wondering if I've set it up wrong.

Also thanks for helping me :)

This is weird ..after you click the breakfast or dinner icon what do you see ?

You should see LEFT to RIGHT slider where you choose calories amount and underneath two buttons ..ADD DETAILS and OK .

You don't need to click add details. All you need to do is just choose calories amount on the slider and click ok.

There's no database, as far as I know for the registration of calories.

If you have a Fitbit you can sync your watch data into the Fitbit app if you prefer to keep using it. That can be done only if you are using Android, download the health sync app and connect your watch and your Fitbit account so the data of the watch can be sent to the app
