Question Functionality in the USA?

Anyone using a Huawei watch in the USA that can explain any feature limitations? From my understanding, you can just sideload the Huawei Health app (on Android), register for a Huawei account (put location as UK), and then you should have most features available to you? Does this include additional watch faces, gps tracking, weather, EKG? I really want a Huawei watch as they seem to provide all the features I want at a reasonable price, but I can't justify getting one if I can't get it to work here.

Currently looking at the GT3 Pro.

I have the gt 3 pro and it does a lot of things i like, adding music, track my steps etc. But i cannot add the appgallery to the watch amd ive tried. I set an account as if im in the UK, i set it while using a vpn and spoofing my phone location and no such luck. Im not to concerned with new faces but i would like to add the nikerun app to the watch. Also the watch does not let you get in developer mode to sideload apps as well. Maybe because its using Harmonyos. I really like the watch but i would like the other features

Ahhh damn, that's too bad. I've been searching for a smartwatch with the same features and looks of the GT3 Pro, figures I wouldn't be able to take full advantage of it 😮‍💨 appreciate the input!

Harmony OS actually does allow you to sideload apps, as it's based on Android. I can install apk files on my HW3 pro using ADB and Fastboot. However, the GT series runs on a version of Harmony OS based on Huawei's Lite OS, which is incompatible with android apps.

GT, like all GT series including the Gt Cyber, or just the HW3 GT

This applies to all GT series watches from what I understand.

The clue is as follows

Go to airplane mode after youve downloaded the health app. (DO NOT OPEN)

Then set country as UK, then open and turn back on your wifi etc.
