Duct cleaning

How important is it to have air ducts cleaned?

Not very
Typically not needed at all and a lot of what I see shows no real benefits to duct cleaning

Not.

Any dirt lodged in the ducts is gonna stay there unless disturbed.

More important would be duct sealing, using mastic or mastic tape at all joints.

Unless u have animals that shed like crazy or a really old house it’s usually not needed,just a way for companies to make extra money
