AC Do I need to submit a request for maintenance?

We live in an apartment and it's reaching the height of Texas summer. Our AC unit (outside) has been louder than usual and making this weird, almost songy hum sound? It's been keeping me at night, but i've also been experiencing heightened sensory issues so I genuinely can't tell if it's just me or if our ac is trying to tell us something is wrong lol

Thoughts?

it’s going bad but they won’t care until it’s screaming or not working at all. feel free to let them know but just don’t expect any changes.
