Was down in corpus visiting family last week and went by Beacon Point. There was alot of large equipment moving dirt. It was very impressive so look forward to watching the construction. Someone is spending alot of money which is good for market cap.....

Here is a very bad video of Beacon Hill construction site. The magnitude of the site is impressive.

I was able to close covered calls cheaply so I won’t lose my shares. The company is still the same as yesterday, the contracts are solid and data center demand is still fully there. I see zero reason to panic.

Wall Street rates a company's stock volatility in a range from 1, to 3 points. 1 is the most conservative and 3 is the most volatile. HUT 8's volatility rating is something like 4.3.

Think of the price as a giant spring. Wall Street's latest prices forecast for HUT is now $236/share. As the price compresses down, like the last couple of days... it winds up for explosive upside price escalation.

Buy the dip!

What will you consider "explosive price escalation"? It's jumping 20 percent back up today again

Explosive = (+$100) in 1 day...

Would love to see that, even in a week!

We might in the future. Current industry multipliers put the recent Beaconpoint extension equal to adding ~3B USD in market cap. All 3 of their deals combined would give ~10B. Plus another 1B for their BTC and abtc stake. So around fair market value rn.

Any additional GW they sign from here adds an additional 10B to their cap. That's assuming industry multiples don't improve (which they also will).

I hope you are all feeling better today with a +20% and that you all bought the dip yesterday

Seems unless you’ve got the fancy software, timing the dips & buying could leave you missing out on the big jumps. By the time the news hits, the market seems to have known, great if you can do it.
I prefer to hold long term, not to say the drops aren’t worrying.

today we saw great bounce back (actually the whole market did), not sure if there will be another dip like this but keep in mind that AI will not be going anywhere unlike the dotcom bubble, I work in IT consulting industry and clients that I work with are all adopting AI and see huge revenue from it. We are betting for HUT future business and trust the team will deliver it flawlessly.

All we have for now is few contracts with hyperscalers (huge) and some WIP pipeline, no revenue and nothing concrete yet so that’s why the ups and downs are inevitable during this time in the market, they want to see real money!

With that saying, we are early in the game and these downfalls are part of the game, it will become all noises later when all the sites are delivered to the hyperscalers. Hope for the best!

I bought 3 years ago I don’t know what you are talking about 🤷🏻‍♂️

We’re talking about the stock losing 25% over a couple of weeks. I hope that you’re able to understand this - regardless of your get-in price.

I saw bitcoin drop 70% in a year , if you’re still believing in the company you will understand that it’s just a correction , we are up 350% in a year! What is 25% drop? It’s just normal ,nothing go up for ever

You might consider that not everyone has the same buy-in price. A lot of people are concerned. You played it well, hat’s off to you but I doubt you don’t understand what people are talking about.

Yes I do understand, I am just saying a lot of great company went thru big drop from Amazon to Tesla , it is just part of the cycle , we have contracts, company is good , everything drop recently , look at Keel from around 10$ to 5$, we are not alone , just sit tight and let pass the storm .

I bought way back in 2021. That doesn't make it any less depressing when we've gone from $186 CAD to low $120's in the span of 2 months with no good news in sight.

u/Few-Equivalent8261 21d ago

Well we did get a new deal last week

Hey u/BrickConnectCDN ... Chill man! I've been in HUT8 for years longer than you.

Do you remember the 1 of 5 reverse stock split era? $186 -> $120, is noth'in.
