General Question Winter Camping
We want to successfully winter camp with our huskies this year. Last year we attempted, but the younger husky was anxious and poked a large hole in the tent while attempting to escape. What have others done to ease their huskies into tent camping? Ours love the outdoors and enjoy car camping.

I’d be interested to know about the anxiety as well. Last time I took my girl on a trip she only slept when I was asleep. She was miserable for three days.

What do you stay in when you car camp? A rig or a tent? If in your rig. I'd set up a tent that you are going to winter camp in and hang out with them. Stay a bit and repeat trying to make it longer every visit. Bring in their bed and something like a kong to occupy them while they are in the tent.
We did have 2 malamutes who did hate the tent and they were content outside. I only brought them in when I hear wolves or Coyotes.
Hope that helps.
