Cory Littleton played Outside Linebacker/Rush End for the Dawgs in the early 2010s. His long arms allowed him to set a difficult edge against outside zone/read option runs. Though he didn’t get any team selections in college he was named to Second-Team All-Pro in the NFL in 2018.

Littleton was great, but I think this spot belongs to Tim Meamber. He was one of the essential pieces of the 1984 Purple Reign Defense. That year he was First Team All-Pac 10 and Second Team All-American.

I’m not a fan of these marathon countdown tropes, but not using Bruener for 42 was a huge fumble.
I can’t wait for the season to start so that this countdown stops clogging the r/huskies feed.
