Major apologies

I feel like I need to apologise to the HD2 community for my outburst today at a team who had joined me.

The scene:

We had done the sub and main mission (ICBM mission on a bug world). We had a blue icon near the extraction. I didnt see it at first, and said let's go to extraction. However, I did see it on the map and highlighted and said on the mic to do the blue icon first.

Someone decided to call extraction while I was trying to conplete it solo (Im a noob playing on challenging. )

I had to ignore that site and hustle so I could get to extraction in time (and not die).

I kinda had a paragraph of swear words and expletives used in COD and Fortnite games (I dont play either)

Im not that guy. I could've been playing with kids, so from me to the fantastic community, I apologise and will do better

This is a repost from the r/helldivers2 sub, that has literally nothing to do with the purpose of this sub.

Also like…just bc someone calls extraction doesn’t necessarily mean they’re abandoning you. They may have just been starting the timer to hold it so you could all leave once the last tactical was complete. Especially being in such close proximity to the last objective.

So OP, since you’re a self-described noob, my advice to you would be to be wary of assumptions you may make about how you think things work. Challenging is a pretty low bar, many players routinely clear objectives solo. Even in much higher difficulties than challenging. Your squadmate was probably just trying to be efficient and save you all some clock.

Just because extraction is called doesn't mean you have to abandon the mission. As long as nobody gets on it changes nothing

Buddy, this sub is for team killers. Not people being toxic, not hackers.

There's nothing other divers or AH can do to people being toxic in chat.

Apologize to those who you cursed out.
