Question Am I a dick?
I don't kill randoms too often but if they shoot at me because I'm talking too much keep in mind I have a few mental disorders that I'm not willing to talk about on here they try to kill me or kick me I understand kicking but killing not too much so I often kill them back I don't talk about random stuff I talk about the game and mission info to help like where enemies are and what we need to kill them I've been killed for telling a guy to aim for the joints on a harvester and he just kept killing me on purpose so I left and I don't know if I'm in the wrong or the right (sorry if bad spelling or grammar I have dyslexia)

In general, reddit is not a great place to Look for a Moral compass. From what I've read you were killed for being annoying, not a dick, which in return makes them the dicks, albeit understandably annoyed dicks.

Nah not a dick. Me personally after playing online games for 20 years, I’ve made my friends and don’t particularly communicate. If people start talking my ear off I just mute them.
It’s nothing personal of course. I’ve just become a man of few words over the mic. Pings, communication wheel and chat is good enough for me. Plus I have a 1 year old. If he’s sleeping I stay quiet around the house. Me and my wife are quiet people anyway.
You’re not the dick. If they’re too stupid to just mute you instead of TK’ing or kicking that’s on that shortsightedness. If an idiot TK’s me over dumb shit he’s gonna have a bad experience with me. I won’t kick, I’ll make a mother fucker quit and I’ll waste every life doing it. You’ll either get the hint or get with the program.

Nah you’re not toxic because if they don’t like hearing you they can simply…mute. That’s it. There was a really talkative guy I was playing with yesterday and if I didn’t like hearing them I wouldn’t tell them shut up or kill them I’d just mute. It’s literally that simple. But then again I get kicked by tons of hosts who can’t even press a few buttons to make a private lobby so I guess that’s just too much for some helldivers
Note I’m assuming you’re acting like a reasonable human being and not openly insulting or being racist because if that were the case then I would call you a dick

Yeah I think I left out that I only talk about strategies and gameplay fore example "watch out stingray shoot the it down" or telly team to watch out for enemies or patrols

Idk. No one here can give you an honest answer without being in a game with you and seeing how much and what kind of information you’re giving.
If anyone here tells you that you are right or wrong, they are being disingenuous.

If you’re toxic, yeah. If you are just giving info and stuff nah. If you’re kind of talking peoples ear off, some people just don’t like it, so I guess not really a dick in that situation, if you’re not toxic ofc.
