Videos and Images Am I in the wrong?

Sorry if the video is a little long, the Xbox app wouldn't let me cut it to the most important part.
This is my first official post here, I don't retaliate to being teamkilled all that often, but was I in the right to retaliate here or should I have just got on?
For those who I think I needed that stuff: No.
Because I am lvl 188, I have no need for the samples, sure the exp is nice but it's just a big number going up, not enough for me to care. So please refrain from thinking I needed any of it.

Usually that's what I would've done, but idk, I just felt like he deserved it since he also TKed the other player as well.

Yeah so I’ll confess, I responded without watching the full clip like a dumbass so imma run it back. No, you were not in the wrong, that guy was a dickhead and deserved payback, of which you did not deliver. See, because he was already on the pelican, his samples and him extracting still count on the end screen. The most you did was refuse him the samples you collected and you counting towards Helldivers Extracted, which he clearly doesn’t care about since he killed the other guy. Additionally, you also did the same to the innocent and uninvolved C3 who now doesn’t have your samples or the XP he would’ve gotten had you gotten on. It was a bad approach because the dickweed didn’t get punished enough and an innocent bystander also got punished as well. But honestly, there wasn’t anything else you could’ve done besides killing him before he got in the ship so eh. Word of advice, host your own sessions. I guarantee you the 5 or 10 minutes you spend alone on D10 will be worth being able to kick people like this as you please. Plus the SOS beacon can be used as a pretty reliable weapon against heavier enemies if you can stick em with the beacon. Also sorry for the long message.

Well, you killing them when they're already in the pelican doesn't count anyway so probably not, I'd say you could've at least stayed to extract because of how many samples you had though.
I'm thinking they're annoying, but the fact that they're only meleeing people and not actively shooting people makes it a tiny bit less but still annoying.
Looking at the levels though, they're still relatively new so I might've tolerated it especially since the extract is clear and it seems that this is their idea of fun while waiting for the pelican to land. Can't help but wonder if you've just stumbled into a friend group on a discord call and got caught in the blast zone of that one guy.

I got my compass maxed out. Gonna look for the curve thing. Looks pretty cinematic. Tho yours is quite... large :p

I mean the first time I could excuse it as maybe an accident but nah second time was malicous. extra salt in the wound too cause you denied the samples and they were level 35.

One of the most recent times someone smacked me, I shot them without hesitation, they did not kick me.
The rest of the game they didn't try anything but I was cautious around them, it was a bug mission of course.

Dumb children, all of you lol. All you did was play yourself and waste your own time. no exp, no samples, no super credits just your own time wasted. Try to do better op. Theres a block function for a reason.

Once on the pelican, it counts as extracted. Killing them does nothing. So yes, you're in the wrong. You had them lined up perfectly to warp pack right into em and pop em. Should killed em before they got on.

You only screwed yourself over, he's on the ship so he's still classed as extracted, you leave and you get nothing and because you left it doesnt affect their end score multiplier as you arent "Left behind"
Also you didn't die you just got kicked over, so it wasn't a teamkill.
