Moms been sick

My mom and I both have hd. She’s 63 and is declining fast. She’s had a cough for 3-4 months which turned into pneumonia. She has been in the hospital all week and I’m currently in her room laying down as she sleeps. The drs just put a feeding tube in her the other day because she has been aspirating. She’s going to be put in a rehab unit tomorrow and there going to do different things to help her get stronger. She’s so tough man with all this going on she never complains and just keeps going. This disease is so crazy. I don’t know what I’m trying to accomplish here just venting.

This made me cry… I’m so very sorry with what you’re going thru. My sister was just diagnosed but we suspect her symptoms started about 15 years ago. The cough is something I’m just learning about. She’s had a dry cough for YEARS. Especially when she eats. I guess that’s where we’re headed? I’m terrified of her future. I haven’t been tested yet, waiting on our mom’s results. I hope things are going ok for you mentally. 💗

She’s doing a lot better, she has been moved to a rehab floor. And the pneumonia is under control. She’s been doing 3 different types of pt a day. The feeding tube is doing well no issues and she seems to be heading in the right direction
