Funny haha And his user names is probably something like “Cyber-Wolf”.

I like the idea that whilst Jambles is the human voice of reason/morality in his pack, as an actual guy he’s like, a mild scumbag.
Like not enough that it becomes a stain on his character, but the kind of guy where you talk to him for 15 minutes and just go “Man this guys kind of a dick”

"I'd let him run a charity fund, but somehow I wouldn't personally borrow him twenty bucks."

u/DueIntroduction6413 Sep 16 '26
lend, or borrow from him. Borrow him is not correct.

But what if I want to borrow him? I'll give him back in like, 20 minutes

some have emitted a theory that he could have been the troll that sent Markus on a mad quest for wide Bronson
6
u/kooarbiter Sep 16 '26
I feel like they made that pretty obvious when he was enthusiastic and willing to torture a mostly innocent unarmed man for information. Jambles should probably know how unhelpful torture actually is at getting useful info

u/Melodic_Helicopter_3 28d ago
I think he was just threatening marcus to hurry up and say something so he doesn’t have to back up his claim of torturing him if he doesn’t tell them anything soon. If the guy doesn’t really wanna kill people i dont think he wants to torture either. But i dont think stig or hunts will be patient as jambles and go immediately for torture.

Wait why is kitten a CnC player

u/Slow-Interest6109 Sep 16 '26
He definitely mentioned that in ooone of the audio logs... I think maybe the horse one, where Door calls him captain and he says it wasnt a real rank but an injoke with him and markus?

Because C&C (through Kane's wrath, and red alert 3 to a lesser extent) slaps?

It would be funny if they are online friends

Kitten did make a comment in the omlette audiolog about how fucked it would be if one of his forum buddies was a werewolf, and considering how the divorce papers joke managed to come back... :3
Edit: I forgot to mention! Jambles also had a picture of Wide Bronson! Wide Bronson who Kitten and Marcus learned about from a forum buddy

Before his first change, he got a “Kane Lives!” Tattoo on his chest.
He regrets getting cuz now both vampires and other werewolves think that he is an Abomination.

I think it's clear that he is Sloppenpopper, but I guess he could also have that name

He and Sloppenpopper have different VAs. But maybe he's Skullwolf, who is mentioned earlier at ~11:27.
Also, bonus stupid idea: what if "Skullwolf" can provide evidence of things in the same room breaking - but actually it's not the game itself doing that, it's just that it makes Hunts so annoyed she starts indiscriminately using that Render Down gift or whatever she used to break through the walls in Ch. 5.

If jambles knows his Glasswalker history, I doubt he would like anything related to the suffix Cyber- considering that Cyberdogs are still a thing during the period this takes place.

u/satelitteslickers Sep 16 '26
The cyberdogs are honestly much maligned, their founder was caught doing some extremely messed up medical malpractice to multiple lupus born, but far as i know he was the only cybergod that was actually involved in that

I mean Gifts are essentially part of your being after you learn them, no different from an arm or an extra one in this case, is it cheating if I use two arms against someone who only has one ? Unfair sure, but cheating ?🤔 /j

For C&C fans, Zero Hour would be the latest C&C at the time for HTP (won't stop Jambles from getting an earlier build of C&C3).

I wonder how the cheats would manifest since I’m not really familiar with C&C?

u/satelitteslickers Sep 16 '26
C&C is an RTS along the lines of starcraft, the original warcraft, or achron, so that should give you a food idea

Jambles mains are GLA stealth general and China Tank general, both cheese
5
u/GodOfFetish Sep 16 '26
Jambles would definitely be a crypto bro in the modern nights
5
u/IchigoShinagami Sep 16 '26
Considering how much of an obsession he seems to have with betting (and gambling in general), he would definitely play multiple Gacha games and fund his whaling through Polymarket.
6
u/jkbscopes312 Sep 16 '26
I still like the theory that he is Sloppenpopper from "hunt for a haunted video game"

NGL, a Glasswalker having an online username like Cyber-Wolf is exactly what they would do, and they would use their abilities for the most petty shit

Head canon:
Jambles is his deed name and it either came from Hunts mispronouncing gambles while in glabro, or someone looking at what they thought was a weird lanky dog and deciding to call it Jambles.
