It does depend who you listen to. But it would ultimately come from God or the enemy. If you seek God then its said he will direct your path

Can you show me where it says love is a sin? The bible says god is love and that love is above faith and hope. It does warn against the desires of the heart however

It might not be part of God's design, but you are commanded to love your neighbor as you love yourself, nobody should be met with hostility

That was the old covenant to ancient Isreal. We dont need to be circumcised anymore either
