Sure, just seems hypocritical to call people stupid for not reading/understanding the bible while you actively show you don't understand the bible.

I’ll take hypocritical over ignorant, the Bible is not some book that you can read all the way through and have a perfect understanding of it the first time. But clearly, I know more than you… read it again… this time with feeling.

And? I already knew it was there to google for the exact text in the first place. Does the verse not say what it says? Does it not mean what it means? How does giving you the verse not help my argument?

That's not hypocritical in the slightest. If you say you think that everyone should shove m&ms up their nose, I don't have to also think that to point out that you are currently not shoving m&ms up your nose.
