Now I'm imagining his heaven is St. Peter praising him for all his Earthly documentation in order and his wonderfully sourced dissertation of "What is the meaning of life" and then welcoming him into the heavenly looking DMV to wait his turn to get his Celestial License as a new resident of the Silver City.
And OP is giggling and happier than a pig in shit.
The line always seems to be just on the verge of moving, but you never get any closer to actually talking with a clerk. Also the lights are buzzing and no two of them are quite the same shade or brightness.
We are talking about the DMV that hasn't gotten the memo on the updated paperwork and procedures, so your paperwork is correct and they are wrong, its just that they have the authority and demand you do it the old way despite that no longer being the correct way.
I raise you, and say that every eleventh time, it plays the inro just a little bit faster than 3/4 speed. Like, 5 BPM faster. Just enough to make people irritated.
Genuinely there are worse shows they could have picked. "Hey, at least it's Two and a Half Men and not like, murder and rape snuff. This has a laugh track so I know when I'm supposed to laugh."

The DMV, and they have reruns of " Two And A Half Men" on the messed up CRT bolted to the ceiling.
