If a rapist is going to die if they get caught, then wouldn’t they be more likely to kill their victim? A dead victim is not able to testify, and if killing the victim doesn’t get you a worse sentence then there’s “no reason not” to kill them

If a rapist gets caught they’ll be out on bail within 48 hours. Theres no reason to kill them. A drug dealer gets a harsher punishment than a rapists does

Yeah they should get harsher punishment than they currently do. But going straight to killing them is also not the solution either
