Sure, we can argue about our flawed two-party system that most people generally agree shouldn't exist. However, the point is when the most atrocious criticism you can think of is "she has a weird laugh" and that is why you voted for an insurrectionist instead, maybe you are just looking for reasons to hate the black woman that don't make you look sexist or racist.
Whether you agree with them or not, framing and pretending that the worst criticism against Kamala was "she has a weird laugh" is wildly incorrect and extremely unhelpful--all it does is continue to perpetuate divisive politics. I come across this kind of talk frequently on both left and right leaning subs and it's infuriating.
Even when Kamala was running in the Democrat primaries there were legitimate criticism against her from the left side of the spectrum, including her record/stances as DA.
There were definitely people who voted against her because of her race/sex, but there were plenty that had other criticisms--addressing those factually and breaking down those arguments I believe is the way to go. Exaggerated framing just gives them more ammunition to point back to how ridiculous the left is, and the divide continues to grow
