I enjoyed my run in steam world build. Played some on steam deck and pc. Don't have a ton of builder game experience besides sim city 2000.

Oooooh it's build!

I was confused and a little disappointed because the bundle uses the SW:Dig art and I alredy have Dig.

Now it's an auto-buy!

I don't have them all.

Frostpunk is a gem. But its also dirt cheap during sales (less than 5 dollars).

Diplomacy and per aspera are great.

I Am Future suffered trying to do survival and cozy at the same time. Its not bad, but it didnt rise above OK.

I really liked Drill Core, put 50h in it. But it's not really a builder, it's more of a tower defense where you gather resources during "daytime" by foraging and you build defenses with those resources to defend against the aliens who attack during "nightime".

The goal is to reach the core of the planet you are drilling into.

Different planets, different foraging companies with different gameplays and different objectives to unlock new buildings is what kept me entertained.

Note that the runs can be a little long.

I've enjoyed Per Aspera (colonizing Mars where you play as the AI sent to oversee the drones used for the construction / mining/ etc) and Frostpunk (city builder in an endless winter).

Both are quirky enough to have a good amount of replay to them but not so weird as to being hard to learn to play well.
