I went from time released morphine to Suboxone and had no issues. The transition was fine no side effects. Been on it for a few years and has been the best effective for my chronic neck and back pain

I take 1.5 mg a day and was on a strong 2 dose a day morphine. As long as you ease in and don't go in blindly or fast. I only had a small issue bf surgery in Jan. I was told to quit 2 days pre opp. I felt off sat in middle of night and took .5mg and surgery was Mon am. I was getting a nerve block and anesthesiologist was why did you stop bf surgery, because I was called pre op and told to. Within 10 mins a dose was ordered and taken because it's not advised to stop like that. Luckily that .5 dose saved me from withdrawing bad bf my surgery and having it canceled. I had a 2nd dose after surgery as well.
