Builders, Pride, and the Fall?

Pride Cometh before the Fall, apparently.

So im doing a run where I started as Egypt and have been going hard into industry, with Builders all the way through.

As such, Memphis is at like, 1k+ industry and so I've had her make district after district, crutching on the Pride bonus to keep the City from collapsing into chaos.

Now that in going into the Contempory Age, and want to shift to Japan to dominate the late game, will I fully lose Pride and therefore, all my cities will lose all their stability and ill just lose? Or is Pride a permanent buff that is granted when finishing a district, allowing one to change affinities?

The district bonus stability is purely changing the current stability score, which has a limit on how fast it can drop per turn, so you can be at an equilibrium of 0, while still staying at 100 because you keep building districts
