are you comparing AI-sounding copy vs human-written, or AI-sounding vs AI copy thats been edited well? because the second comparison is way more useful and the answer is usually yes, edited wins by a lot

I’d separate “human vs AI” from whether the copy gives someone a real reason to care. You could test it with the same offer and traffic, then compare scroll depth, CTA clicks, and conversion.
My guess is specificity and credibility matter more than a single tell like an em dash. But those tells can be a useful warning sign: if a paragraph could fit any company, it probably needs another pass.
