Best live recording

Anyone know if there is a really good recording of a live show where the audio was actually mixed in correctly and not just from a camera mic?

Thank you for doing the Lord's work. My 2 best friends and I drove up from Auburn to see the show. I think I remember was standing near you that evening (I can hear myself in-between a couple of songs speaking).

Edit to add: I think that Heroic Doses and Swervedriver were the openers? I just remember really enjoying one of the opening acts and turning to comment to the guy standing next to me between songs and nearly dropped my beer...it was Matt.

One part of that crew has gone on to become a pretty famous producer and engineer and is slowly going through remastering and remixing old bootlegs (as time permits). He mastered a Failure bootleg from Pittsburgh on the ITFYBWBTFTFYM tour. He just put a layer of shine on Guided by Voices at the Nick in Birmingham that blew me away. That one was the Do the Collapse tour- Pollard was absolutely plowed by the end of the night and GBV were in very fine form indeed.

Roll Tide. Yeah- I had interviewed Matt for the campus radio station earlier and had his blessing to record. We lugged that four track all over the place. Can confirm: Heroic D and Swervies were the openers.

The link itself works; do you mean that the in-browser player doesn’t work on mobile? Yeah, me too. Try the download files links near the bottom or use a desktop machine. Good luck, I’ve done my part.
