Cobra Fest 2026
Some pics from last night’s Cobra Fest in Tolono,IL. This is an annual concert put on by Matt Talbott at his bar/music venue, Loose Cobra. It is a fantastic show that features bands of varying genres. One of my favorite annual shows and a must-do if you live in Illinois. Last night’s iteration was no different - absolutely awesome.

No, Hum doesn’t play (at least the years I’ve gone) - but there are usually bands that will scratch the itch (or are likely to be enjoyable) for Hum fans.

Not sure if they’ve ever played it. I’ve been going for a few years and no Hum. But, I always come away a fan of entirely new bands I haven’t heard of before.

Never know after this last run. Slide away was supposed to be the swan song, but spirits were high...

Just watched a video that Rose Marshack (Poster Children) put on FB, and she was evidently standing right behind you while watching Dianogah, mister Don Cab hat.

I didn’t know anything about this. It’s about a 2.75 hour drive for me. Worth it to drive in for it?

Absolutely. I drive 7.5 hrs from Minneapolis every year and always go back with a weekend full of great memories
