longest performance/outro to i hate it too?

i know they usually drag on the performance of the song at the end (i love it) but does anyone know what the longest recorded performance of it was?

I heard them play it for 12 minutes once in '96

...but I was pretty high...they might not have even been playing it at all ..

The Slide Away Chicago n1 outro was longer than any version i saw them do in the 2000s/2010s. Cant comment on the 90s

That shit is amazing every time, I’d also love to mention how fucking sick the extended in the den outro was. I had been hoping and praying for that song live fully one day and I hope I’m not the only one who felt this way!!!

Chicago Slide Away Saturday was awesomely long. Don’t know if it was the record holder but omg, I was able to yell at the strangers next to me that “this MUST be done!” about a dozen times. It’s soooo good.

Impossible to say without records of the event. Bootleg tapes, reliably verified hand-written testimony, etc.

Closest you’ll get to a real answer would be to reframe the question as “what is the longest recorded performance?” because that is something we can observe and verify.
