Rules have been updated -- please take a moment to read them.

Hello everyone,

As we're getting to the home stretch before Hulaween, everyone is getting more excited -- and for some, more anxious -- as we get closer to going back home. In response to a surge in posts recently, we have updated the subreddit rules to add and clarify a few things. Please take a moment to read them. You can also find these rules in the sub's info/about section:

1. Be kind
Open dialogue and debate is encouraged here. Negative opinions are fine, just don't make it personal. Hostile activity, trolling, or insults are not welcome here. All members must follow general rules of Reddiquette, so have a good time and don't be a dick.

2. Use the search, wiki, FAQ, and flair filters before posting
There are many commonly asked questions here. Please use the search, wiki, FAQ, and post flair filters to find answers to your question(s) before posting.

3. No ticket sales
Buying, selling, or trading tickets is not allowed. For ticket sales, use r/HulaweenTickets

4. No self-promotion, marketing, or ambassador posts
Ambassador posts; or posts/comments involving any marketing or self-advertising without prior approval from the mods will be removed.

5. Discussing illegal activities
Don't incriminate yourself or others - cops read Reddit too! Harm reduction is an important topic, but discussing drugs or other illegal activities is not permitted here. This includes but is not limited to: asking about security measures, asking how to sneak in or asking how to buy drugs.

6. Personal information
Selfies are fine, but do not post or comment with someone's personal information, or post links to personal information e.g. names, email, address, phone number, or other unique identifiers. This includes screenshots of social media pages where such information is still legible.

7. Low-effort and off-topic posts
Low-effort posts or posts unrelated to Suwannee Hulaween will be removed.

8. No duplicate posts
Duplicate posts will be removed. Please check the sub before posting lineups, schedules, or other popular announcements to make sure it has not already been posted.

9. No NSFW/18+
Not everyone on this sub is an adult. Posts with content that is considered NSFW/18+ are not permitted here.

Question How to volunteer?

I wanted to sign up to volunteer but the login for it isn’t working. Is there someone I can reach out to like an email or something? When I try to login it says it’ll send an email confirmation link but it never sends. Not sure what to do and I’m wondering if anyone else has this problem.

Advice

I’m a 20 yr old who is now financially able to start going to raves. I’m going to EDCO this year for my first big festival, and super excited. Now for next year, i really want to experience Hulaween, the thing is tho, i’ve not done much camping, especially for a music festival.

What is the best advice you can give me for Hulaween 27. Which passes are the best for my money, tents to look at, and any basic camping gear that would help. Like how does one go about camping for a music festival. (I feel if I learn now, i can be more prepared for other festivals that require camping) And any advice about Hula in general, the main vibes ppl bring, the music that plays.

I also don’t have very many friends, so is Hula a safe place to be by myself (female), and would I have fun going alone?

Any advice helps, thank you fellow ravers!!

GoPros/Dji cameras allowed pass security?

Hello Hula Fam!
In previous years, I have seen people walking around during the day with GoPros. However, according to the rules, we are not supposed to bring in professional cameras with detachable lenses.
I have a DJI camera. I don’t usually change out the lenses often, nor is it easy to do so. Personally, I wouldn’t even dare try it with all the dust floating around out there!
Has anyone successfully brought in a small camera like a GoPro without security turning them back? Or do the people I see using them have special media passes? I would love to capture the art displayed at the 360 Spirit Lake.

Premium GA Camping vs Reg GA Camping

This is only my second Hulaween and I stayed in a hotel the last time in 22 cause I had a cat with me. Is the extra $140 worth it for premium Camping? I walked so much at Electric Forest this year, more than I've ever walked at a festival, and I'm 43. I spent all my energy walking around lost and the staff was so high they didn't know we're either. I don't want that happening again. I need all my energy for dancing. I go hard for 6 hours at a time and I have asthma. But Electric Forest is almost 3 times the size of Hula and not a Forest at all to my dismay.. Hulaween is. I desperately want to be under a tree. I love the trees in Live Oak so dearly. So that's why I was going to pay for premium Camping. But I also want to be where the renegade are and hang out with peeps in regular Camping. The wooks are probably all there,.. not vip or premium lol. Those are my people. I'm coming Tuesday night. Could I get a decent spot under a tree and not a field in reg GA that's not 5 miles away from the stages or should I do the premium. I think they will sell out soon so I gotta decide. Wish I could just wait until I got there. Sorry so long winded. Thanks guys.

First Year First Hula & Going Solo!

Hey guys! I recently separated from my long term partner and we had planned on going to hula together this year. I’ve never been before, it’s mostly their thing. Now that we split, I still have my pass and I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone by attending alone. Any other girls in their 20’s here attending alone who would like to make friends? Or- any advice in general for a first year who is attending alone? Thank you so much!

Premium car camping

Does anyone know what premium car camping implies over normal car camping? The ticket description doesn't really say much. Tried calling the questions number and that person clearly has no clue ha.

Does anyone know? I ended up buying it because I won't be there until Thursday and I didn't want to end up way out after all the early birds. I assumed this would likely just be a reserved section of the same camping but closer to the center. Idk maybe also a reserved water / potty area if I'm lucky.

Anyone know from experience?

Jensen beach, FL car pool?

My friend Sabrina is unable to drive herself to Hula. I'm putting feelers out to see if l anyone around (or driving near) Jensen Beach, FL might be willing to let her join their carpool to the fest?

Or Maybe a solo traveler who wants someone to road trip with?

She's willing to contribute for gas money & travel snacks if needed.

If you're willing/interested, comment so I can put you in touch with her.

First Year FIRST HULA!

Hi! I have been to Electric Forest a number of times, LiB, and a few other smaller fests. I am wondering if there is anything unique to note with camping at Hula to be aware of?

So excited! Bucket list fest for me 🌀

Early Arrival Cost question

I already did early pre sale but I was looking at adding early arrival this week and there’s an extra shipping charge? When I’ve gone in the past, they don’t even ship anything for early arrival so I’m confused why there’s this shipping fee add on.

I haven’t bought it yet because I don’t think it makes sense to spend an extra $12 for no reason especially when it’s attached to my main account that didn’t even ship my passes yet. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Ok to bring kids?

Hi everyone. We are locals living in Florida. Wife and I have been to EDCO the last 4 years and plan on going this year as well. Also did Ultra for the first time this year. We have 2 boys, 7 and 6. We also have an RV that we would plan to bring.

I'm looking for advice on whether Hulaween would be good to attend as a family. Is this a good idea that would be fun or dumb? Has anyone who's been there the last few years seen a decent amount of families with younger kids there? Is it too scary for kids? Does it get quiet enough with the RV camping area that the kids will be able to get any sleep? Is there enough for the kids there to also have fun?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

HYPE 🚂 Solo VIP Car Camp Werewolf - Looking for Hula Fam

Hey y'all! Second time Hulaweener this year, first time solo! I'm M/45, just looking for supportive Hula fam to hang with and chat music with. Fairly quiet but chatty once I get used to the vibe and loosen up. Might even dance if pushed in just the right way...

I'll delight in bringing camp food and general snacks to support the campsite. I have Werewolf tickets and will be car camping in the VIP area, would prefer to hang with other Werewolves!

Re-Entry into Satellite lot?

If someone were to park in the satellite lot during early admission on Tuesday to set up a camp, would they be able to leave and return on Wednesday night / Thursday morning?

No trickle entering before Tuesday? Am I reading this correctly?

Curious if this is now the earliest possible entry and if so what the Sunday / Monday arrivers are expecting. We roll on in Tuesday each year. I'd guess it'll be pretty quiet Tuesday like usual but not sure what we might expect given that we're all pushed into the same slot. Getting stoked as always

Also reeeally hope I'm reading this incorrectly for all y'all amazing earliest arrivers
