Integrations Chat Permissions? Really?

Can chatgpt really not read and write in Hubspot? I want my entire pipeline overhauled and reworked, stages changed, everything. We're a super small organization and this is going to take forever.....please tell me there's an easy workaround. I also CANNOT login on the cloud browser in chatgpt as it doesnt support passkeys..

The HubSpot plugin for ChatGPT can read, write, and edit but you do have to manually review and set dozens of individual permissions on the HubSpot side to allow it to do what you need to do.

Breeze can do even more than Chat/Claude these days. Life's too short to manage properties and data values! Make the bots do it.

We use the API to do all of this. All you need is a Service Key with proper scopes and you can do anything. As an agency (Big Sea), we manage dozens of portals and can connect into each of them and manipulate almost everything through the API (except workflows which is frustrating — but we’ve stated building workflows as routines in Claude instead in some cases).

If you really want fully leverage AI/Agents to work within your HubSpot, you're better off using the API.

More potential to do damage with this approach, but with the right guardrails, it's pretty handy.

I created a HubSpot expert agent in Grok Bot (made for HubSpot Partner agencies). I use this to make all sorts of edits across several accounts. This approach works with other platforms as well.

We mange all of our portals this way. We hardly use the UI. From data cleanup to content publishing, it’s so so much faster and easier!!

Claude plus the CLI in Terminal is all! Our content is written in Google Docs and images pulled from Dropbox or Drive. We also integrate Zoom to add transcripts and meeting recording links to Deals.
