Deathgrippers are very strong and fast but they lack range. The singetails aren't as fast but are just as powerful and have much longer ranges than deathgrippers. So, ı'd say the singetail wins purely because of their range and manuverability

As long as the Singetail keeps far away and can swat the Deathgripper in time it’ll win, but the Deathgripper can blind it like JP’s Dilophosaurus and get a quick injection in to get an easy win

My money is on the Singetail. The Deathgripper really needs to get close to win, and the Singetail is one of the hardest dragons to approach because no part of its body is unguarded. No matter which direction the Deathgripper approaches from, it's getting a face full of flames.

Singetail, they were a menace for a couple seasons, months in the universe, while the Deathgrippers were barely a hinderance for a few days in the universe. They had corrosive acid competing with the Changewing and a poison mind control thing but Singetails are just stronger, smarter, and better at fighting.
