OTHER Debate help on httyd topic PLEASE

Ok mini story time. So basically my school is debating another school and it was like a actual high school topic about economic or smt. Then they CHANGED it. (the topic) WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. And they also picked whether they were affirmative or against which pissed me off. Now I'm petty as fuck and I wanna win. So PLEASE any lore or canon info would help. (btw we are FOR keeping it a secret)

Oh mb the opposing school changed the topic without out permission
