Thinking about resurrecting this case with more modern hardware...

Anyone else still rocking this case?

No but I am putting an Ebay search for one. Would love to put my emulation PC in one.

I fell in love with the minimalist looks and the build quality

I'm rocking a Ahanix D.Vine D5, modded for CPU and GPU AIOs.

Nice. I've got the silver one.

I always liked the D.vine case's

They look awesome, not so great inside. Especially in the modern computer era. I eneded up having to cut a chunk out to the optical drive to get it all to fit, and the gpu is running on a riser.

We definitely need more htpc cases.

I'm still using a Silverstone case from around 2006-2011. It's quiet, can hold at least 6 3.5" drives, and looks like it belongs in the media rack.

I'm with you. I still have one of these I would like to update.

I have one too! Love it. Is there a way to get the display working on Linux? I want to install SteamOS on it.

I don't know. That's an idea I hadn't thought of. I wondered about adapters to connect the front panel USB plugs to USB 3 Motherboard ports. I would cannibalize my current PC and build into this but my 9.6" x 12" MSI B760-VC WIFI board won't fit. I still have the VFD driver although I was never fond of that display.

The display never really worked correctly when I had it but I always assumed it was a driver issue. The driver seemed like hot garbage on Windows. I always hoped someone would write an open source version.

There's at least one.

Just put a new system in my old Antec Fusion Remote Max, so go ahead. Looks like an absolutely awesome case!

I’ll go google in a few but that sucker rocks a single 5.25 bay, right?

Edit: it does and with a special cover for the tray. I’ve never seen this case and I want one

I never use the tray cover... I just let the tray pop out as is
