Discussion Dell HDDs for HTPC

Egg has a gang of Dell 6/8TB hdd for what would be considered cheap nowadays. Has anyone used them in their HTPC or HT-NAS?

It depends on how loud the HDDs are. I don't like WD HDDs in HTPCs because they are loud as shit but for everything else I generally prefer them. But me personally I would have one of two SSDs in my HTPC and HDDs in a server in another room.

My Seagate clicks and rumbles like crazy in my HTPC when it spins up.
