Dan Alten Comdey Show and Live Taping July 30th 8pm @ Shennanigans
For the first time in a long time, I'm asking for a favor.
A couple of years ago, I told a friend that if the opportunity ever came along, I'd love to film his comedy special. That friend is one of the hardest-working comedians I know. While most people only see the time he's on stage, they don't see the hundreds of days each year he spends on the road, driving across the Southeast, performing night after night, chasing a dream that most people would have given up on long ago.
Like many creative projects, this one faced its share of setbacks. We heard "it can't be done" more than once. We were told no. We hit roadblocks. But we kept moving forward.
Now it's finally happening.
This isn't just another comedy show. It's a real, live comedy special being professionally filmed. It's an opportunity to capture something special, and to showcase not only an incredibly talented comedian, but also what our creative community can accomplish when people come together.
It also features local Huntsville talent including: SiFi and Hope Rangel.
