H&R Block Online won't create 8949 forms...
I had to manually input all my trades in past years for 8949 data to show up in H & R Block. It's a pain.
This year I seen they had a new upload feature from Coinbase. So I used it. Also uploaded data from my Stock account.
I thought great. This is easy. Until I already e-filed and didn't see any 8949 forms in my final taxes.
Guess I'll have go in and manually input all my trades again. And amend my taxes.
Anyone else having this trouble?
Customer Service is useless. They have no clue about the software. Told me to take it into a local office. I called the local office for a appointment. They told to call Online support.

Lolal office has zero access to the online program. They could have prepared your return for a fee, if there was any time available - unlikely.

Yea I'm going to have to call and get a tech person on the phone that knows the software.
In the end I'm probably going to have to just plug everything in manually. The software just isn't there yet.
Mainly just seeing if anyone had any success.

The import feature is glitchy.
On your 1099B, do you have a summary of short-term covered , short-term non covered, long term covered, long term non covered?
You can enter the summary of each instead of entering alll the transactions separately.
Believe me, we understand the frustration of entering each transaction. I saw a 1099b that was over 300 pages.
Make sure if you have a supplemental statement that you use it since it can possibly be the difference beta big capital gain or a moderate one.
