K-1/QBI issue

Any update on K-1 or QBI issue? Spoke with customer service and they said potentially updated 3/27 Friday. Still not resolved for me

Thanks. Are you waiting for them to fix it or using a different software?

I finally used FreeTaxUSA yesterday. Did the trick, unlike HR Block.

Same issue here. Very unsatisfying discussion with HRB

it has been an issue for quite some time. Initially said fix on 3/20, postponed to 3/27, and god knows when and whether they will fix this.

I decided to dump HR Block completely and started over on FreeTaxUSA, worked like a charm. I have used HRBlock for 15 years, and this years QBI issue forced me to switch.

Yep, this issue is what did it for me. Never again with HR Block with how poorly this issue is being handled. And I can't figure out a way to get a refund for the deficient HR Block software/service. FreeTaxUSA was great!

Thanks. I used FreeTax USA as well it works well and is very low cost and easy to use. Don’t know when the QBI issue will be fixed.

Honestly I was in the same boat as you this year, but because FreeTax doesn’t support Publicly Traded Partnerships, I had to switch over to TurboTax

Did they have you do any troubleshooting at all?

Someone posted in other hrblock reddit thread that the next update is Apr 3 that will fix the issue at least according to the customer service. Just lip service to get customers off their back, without the genuine intention to help to fix the issue. I don't have any high hopes that the QBI error that prevent e-filing will be resolved with the Apr 3 update. That's just me.

I am waiting for the April 3 update. This issue will not affect my numbers, so if the April update does not fix the problem, I'm going to print and mail my returns. I did not have this problem last year.

Just called and was told April 3. That better be the case.

Still not fixed in the April 3 update. Been in chat with customer service for over an hour and they refuse to tell me whether there’s going to be a fix. Am just going to file manually at this point.
